Principal’s Message
Welcome back to Beaverly Elementary School. We are excited about this coming school year and hope you are too. As you know, Beaverly has a strong reputation across School District #57 – Prince George. Our school and community are known for working closely together for our students. Student academic, social and behavioural success are our first priority and by working as a team we are successful in achieving this priority. Beaverly Elementary School has a wonderfully dedicated group of professionals who work very hard in helping all students achieve their goals. Their rich mixture of experiences, talents, and achievements go so far in meeting the learning needs of our Beaverly students. Teamwork is the key to student success. In these first few weeks I strongly encourage you to come in a introduce yourself to your child’s new teacher. As part of the educational team your consistent and positive involvement will always make for a more a more enriched and postive educational experience for everyone. If you have questions or concerns about your child’s progress please contact the teacher sooner than later. CARING is our goal for this month. With Terry Fox as our role model for September we are focussing our ROCKS behaviour on Caring. Classes are talking, role playing, doing art work and implementing Caring. Please discuss Caring – what it looks like and what it sounds like – when you are chatting with your children at home. We will use our school Terry Fox Run on Friday, September 26th as a culminating activity for Caring. I look forward to a great school year. Art Brown
